Services are held at 10:30 am on Sunday from the beginning of May until the end of September, with additional services held at 11:00 am on Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Christmas Day – in addition to the Carol Service which is held at 3:00 pm on the Sunday before Christmas.

This is a small friendly congregation which seeks to celebrate Christian values through worship and fellowship in a warm, inclusive environment.  All are welcome to join with us at any of our services whether visiting or living locally.

St Michael & All Angels serves a widely distributed, rural congregation, straddling the two glens of Glenshee and Strathardle. The church was founded on the principle that families from these areas wanted their own local place of worship to cater for the many friends and family visiting the area during the summer and autumn months.

The Foundation Stone for the church was laid in 1898 on land gifted by a local resident and with money raised entirely by the local community. Descendants of those families involved in the project’s inception, funding and construction still worship at St Michael & All Angels today.  From the day the church was built, the Vestry has advertised for Anglican ministers to come and holiday in the Rectory in return for a modest rental contribution and leading the Sunday Eucharist. Many of these ministers return year after year, forging enduring friendships with the congregation.
